Cedartown Standard,  Cedartown, GA., Thursday, June 20, 1918
The death angel visited in our midst twice in one week. The first victim was 
Mrs. M. A. Shaw, who died Sunday, the 9th and Little Virginia Baker, aged 3 
years, who departed this life Tuesday, the 11th. Both families have our 
heartfelt sympathy. (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, June 20, 1918)
