Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., Thursday, February 13, 1919
Odessa R. Smith, the sweet little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith, died 
Monday and was laid to rest in Salem cemetery Wednesday. The bereaved family 
have much sympathy in their loss. (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, February 13, 
1919) 


Additional Comments:
Odessa was born 14 March 1910 in Bartow County, GA. and died 11 February 1919, 
in Bartow County, GA.,  she is buried in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in 
Bluffton, Cherokee County, AL.  She is the daughter of George Melton and Lena 
Victoria Mullinax Smith, both are buried in New Harmony Cemetery in Polk 
County, Cedartown, GA. Jewell had the following siblings, Ida Belle, William 
E., Henry, Leamon Andrew, Bessie May Floralee, Charlie, Daniel Webster, Dollie 
Virginia, Louise and Jewell and Argris Evangeline Smith.
