The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., Tuesday, March 18, 1997
Catherine Coleman Smith, Age 89, of 770 Griffin Lake Rd., Felton, passed away 
Thursday, March 6, 1997.  Mrs. Smith was born July 10, 1908 in Newburgh County, 
NY.  She was a homemaker.  Surviving are: a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Albert Sylvia 
Smith, Felton; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services 
were held Saturday, March 8, at 12:30 p.m. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel 
with Father Kingery officiating.  Interment followed in the Tallapoosa-East 
Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were; Albert Smith, Barry 
Smith, Danny Greenway, Donnie Greenway, Sam Sparks and Jimmy Dewberry.  The 
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan had charge of the arrangements.
