The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., Tuesday, March 18, 1997
Eddie Brent McDowell, 81, of 1405 Collard Valley Rd., passed away March 13, 
1997.  Mrs. McDowell was born on July 18, 1915 in Polk County.  She was a 
member of Antioch Baptist Church.  Surviving are; two sons, W.L. McDowell of 
Cedartown and Fred McDowell of Cummings; two daughters, Carmal Boswell of 
Stockbridge and Elaine Anderson of Cedartown; two brothers, M.A. Williams of 
Leesburg, Ala., and Charles Williams of Fort Walton, Fla.; sister, Virginia 
Wheeler of Lawrenceville; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a 
great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held on March 15, at 2 p.m. at 
the Antioch Baptist Church.  The Rev. Earl Montgolf, Rev. Marc Merrit and Rev. 
Robert Wright officiated for the services.  Interment followed in Antioch 
Cemetery.  The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home, of Cedartown had charge of the
