Joe Tom James, Jr., age 66 of 1803 Mt. View Rd., Rockmart, passed away 
Thursday, March 6, 1997.  Mr. James was born in Davidson County, Tenn., on 
November 26, 1930.  He was a retired service manger in the electronics 
industry.  Surviving are: his wife, Willa Dean Burgess James of Rockmart; two 
daughters, Barbara Elaine Comstock of Columbia, S.C. and Deborah Ann Henderson 
of Marietta; two sons, Michael Thomas James of Atlanta and Matthew Burgess 
James of Hiram; and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Saturday, 
March 8, at 9 a.m. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Mr. Dub McCoy 
officiating.  Graveside services followed at 2:30 p.m. in the Mount Olivet 
Cemetery in Nashville, Tenn. With Mr. Ross McClintock officiating.  The 
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan was in charge of the arrangements.
