The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, Wednesday, January 2, 1991
Bob Witt, age 85, Rockmart, died Friday, December 21.  Mr. Witt was born in 
Kentucky, January 2, 1905.  He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church and 
a retired employee of the Aragon Mills.  Surviving are his wife Mrs. Virgie 
Quick Witt, Rockmart; one son, Harold Witt, Rockmart, one daughter, Bobbie Sue 
Supthin, Newnan; three sisters, Becky Sosby, Trion; Omie Collins, Rockmart; 
Grace Hooper, Rockmart.  Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also 
survive.  Funeral services were held Sunday, December 23, at 2 p.m. in the 
Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Howell Brown, the Rev. Lawrence Garrett 
and the Rev. Billy Chambers officiating.  Interment followed in the Aragon 
Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Paul Wigley, James Waits, Butch Rogers, 
T.N. Noland, David Bowman and Michael Rogers.  The Freeman Harris Funeral Home 
of Rockmart had charge of the arrangements.
