We regret to announce this week the death of Mr. H. Barton, which occurred at 
his home near Prior’s station, last Sunday night.  Mr. Barton is a young man, 
about twenty-six years of age.  For some time he had been afflicted with 
bronchitis, and Wednesday of last week was attach with measles.  The two 
diseases in conjunction were such as to defy medical skill and bring on his 
death at the above stated time.  Mr. Barton leaves a young wife and two small 
children.  He was a son-in-law of Mr. Lucius Prior, and lived on his place.  He 
was very much beloved by those who knew him.
