Cedartown Standard, October 9, 1902
Mr. W. D. Raiford, Died last Saturday at Taylorsville while under a surgical 
operation by Drs. Rhodes and Trippe. His death was quite a shock to his many 
Rockmart friends, and universal regrets have been expressed by all at his 
untimely demise. He was about twenty-five years old, and was a clever and 
popular gentleman. (Cedartown Standard, October 9, 1902)
