The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, October 30, 2003
Mary Kate Barnett Pittman, 78, of 1603 Buchanan Hwy., Cedartown, passed away 
Friday, Oct. 24. She was born in Floyd County and was a member of Faith Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Pittman, and father and 
mother William and Hattic Waits Barnett. Survivors include: son, Jerry Pittman; 
sisters, Helen Weaver and Bobbie Avant; and grandson Tyler Blalock. Funeral 
Services were conducted Monday, Oct. 27, at the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Fetkenhour and Kim Lester officiating. 
Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral 
Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA,
