The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 29, 2003
Rev. Mack David Puckett, 91, of 387 Wingfoot St., Rockmart, passed away 
Saturday, April 19, 2003 in Powder Springs. He was born Dec. 19, 1911 in 
Cartersville. He was a retired Goodyear employee and a retired Baptist 
minister, having served Yorkville Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church, 
Prospect Baptist Church and Eastside Baptist Church in Tallapoosa. Survivors 
include his son, Marion Puckett of Austell; brothers, and Kell Puckett of 
Cedartown, Tom Puckett of Snellville; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 22, at 2 p.m. 
from Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. John Hooper officiating. 
Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were the grandsons and 
Scott Carter and David Burnby. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of
