Mrs. Verda Mae Roberson, 93, 1250 Morris Rd., Aragon, died March 15, 2004. Mrs. 
Roberson was born November 10, 1910 in Haralson County, daughter of the late 
William Albert Marks and Samantha Garner Marks. She was a member of the Calvary 
Baptist Church, a homemaker, and a former Goodyear Employee. She was preceded 
in death by husband, Elmer Roberson; son, Melvin Roberson. Surviving are 
daughters, Betty Ingram, Dallas, Joann Womack, Rockmart, and Wilene Hames, 
Aragon; sisters, Edna Allgood and Lois Smith, Rockmart; 13 grandchildren; 17 
great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren. The funeral service was 
conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 in the Freeman Harris Funeral Home 
chapel with Rev. Paul Holbrook and Rev. Don Spears officiating. Interment was 
held in Holly Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Ingram, James Ingram, 
Torey Wright, Greg Proctor, Phil Womack, Johnny Hames and C.A. Wright. Honorary 
pallbearers were Scott Mask and Jason Dunn. Freeman Harris Funeral Home had
