Roxie Geraldine Roberts, 59, of 2022 Goldmine Rd., Dallas, passed away 
Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 in Atlanta. She was born April 11, 1943. She lived most 
of her life in the Paulding County area and was retired from the textile 
industry. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by: 
her father, Jesse James Crawford; brothers, Jesse James Crawford, Jr. and Jerry 
Crawford; and a grandson, Justin Lumpkin. Survivors include: mother, Sarah G. 
Crawford; sons, Dorsey Roberts and Richard Roberts; daughters, Janice Parham, 
Patricia Haynes, Susan Hallman of Rockmart, and Nancy Roberts; sisters, Ruby 
Hitchcock, Wilene Haley, Joyce Hitchcock and Lois Kiker; and twelve 
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at 
Concord Baptist Church in Paulding County with Rev. Dennis Brown, Rev. Trey 
Jones and Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment followed in the Concord 
Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ricky Hallman, Rocky Hayes, Joe 
Parham, Josh Parham, Danny Hitchcock, and Jimmy Hitchcock. J. Hoyt Thomas 
Funeral Home of Villa Rica was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
