Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, Ga., December 17, 2002
Nelle Sue Pettit Robinson, 89, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Cedartown, passed 
away Friday, Dec. 6, 2002. She was born August 26, 1913 in Polk County and 
taught school in Polk for a number of years before moving to Atlanta. While in 
Cedartown, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is 
preceded in death by: husband, Dr. Charles Clifford “Chuck” Robinson, Jr.; 
parents, Thomas Arthur Pettit and Hattie Barrett Pettit, and sister, Lois 
Pettit Nicholson. She is survived by one sister, Evangeline Pettit Wright; son, 
Tom Robinson, Sr.; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services 
were conducted Monday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. at Gammage Funeral Home. Gammage 
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown,
