Shirley Ann Robinson, 67 of 261 Laurens Rd., Rockmart, passed away Friday, Nov. 
8, 2002. She was born Sept. 26, 1935 in Polk County. She was a member and 
Sunday school teacher of Bellview Baptist Church, where she was also active in 
WMU and participated in the church choir. She was a retired employee of Wal-
Mart. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Denise Robinson, and 
brothers, Rev. Clyde Purser and Stephen Purser. Survivors include: husband, 
Wallace Robinson; sons, Dewayne Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Phil Robinson, and 
Neil Robinson; sister, Joan Clower, brother, Jack Purser, eight grandchildren, 
and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 10 
at 3 p.n. in the Bellview Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Parris and Rev. Owen 
Davis Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Bellview Baptist Church 
cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Robinson, Jimmy Purser, Barry Clower, Jimmy 
Davis, Mark Purser, Chris Robinson and Wade Robinson. Honorary pallbearers were 
members of the Helping Hands Sunday school class of Bellview, co-workers at Wal-
Mart, and Skylar Akins. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home was in charge of
