Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 1, 2007, 6:00 pm Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., July 07, 2003 Lloyd Wendell Rogers, 66, of 309 Old Rockmart Rd., Silver Creek, passed away Saturday at a local hospital. He was born January 9, 1937 in Floyd County, son of the late William F. Rogers and Estelle Godfrey Rogers. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. He worked for a number of years at Southern Auto Supply and then started his own business, Lloyd’s Auto Refinishing, which he owned until a 1999 accident. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Womack; daughter, Lisa Dianne Templin; son, Steve Rogers; brother, Wayne Rogers; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 2, at Rome Memorial Park. Rev. Ralph Dingler and Rev. Timothy Bray officiated. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Fricks, Melvin Warren, Jerry Smith, Harvey Bowman, F.M. Massey. Billy Hammonds, Jimmy Pruitt, Mike Pruitt, Bill Goss, Floyd Roberson, Jeff Williams, Ricky Rogers, Jim Fricks, Melvin Warren, Jerry Smith, Harvey Bowman and F.M. Massey. Henderson and Sons Funeral was in charge of the arrangements.
