Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 1, 2007, 6:02 pm The Cedartown Standard, March 04, 2004 William C. “Bill” Rogers, 75, of Virginia Trail, Carrollton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004. He was born July 2, 1928 in Polk County to Grace Brown Rogers and the late Wesley Rogers. He was a retired Master Sgt. of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Phillips Rogers; mother, Grace Brown Rogers; daughters Sandie Brandy and Lisa Bailey, all of Carrollton; sisters, Audrey Williams and Betty Rogers of Rockmart; and brother, Joel Rodgers of Canton. Three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces also survive. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Old Camp United Methodist Church with Rev. Alex Brookhuis officiating. Pallbearers were Walt Carl, Tim Cole, Chris Rooks, Dave Webb, Dick Brandy and G.H. Gilbert. Interment followed in Carroll Memory Gardens. Martin and Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton had charge of the arrangements.
