Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 29, 2007, 6:41 pm Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, August 14, 2003 Ferman Alvin Roland, 63, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2003. He was born January 3, 1940 in Calhoun County, Ala. Prior to his retirement he worked at Hale Manufacturing and resided at 70 Branch Rd. for the past few years. He was of the Holiness faith, and was manager of the 278 West Flea Market for the past six years. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lamar, Thomas and Kenneth Roland, and their parents, Leon and Alta Roland. Survivors include wife, Carleen Roland; sons, Craig Roland and Ricky Bagley; daughters, Sharon Roland, Melissa Ingle and Angela Williamson; brother, Johnny Roland, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, August 9 at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Eaves officiating. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
