The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, May 06, 2003
Dorothy Ann Rutledge, 74, of 6100 Trammell Rd., Building 10 Apt. 37, Morrow, 
GA, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2003. She was born in Polk County. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Steve Ayers and Delia Perry Ayers, and her 
husband, Lex Rutledge. Survivors include her daughter, Janie Hyder; son, Eddie 
Bright, Jr.; brother, Steve Robert Ayers, Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 26 great-
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at the 
Chapel Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Kip Davis officiating. Interment followed 
in Northview Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
