George Van Schliestett, of Miami, Fla. Passed away Friday in Miami.  Mr. 
Schliestett was retired commander of the U.S. Navy.  Funeral services were held 
at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.  Local 
survivors include one sister, Mrs. C.T. Johnson of Rome, GA. And one nephew, 
Mr. Jerry Walley of Cedartown.  This announcement was furnished for the family
