Joseph Snow, 75, of 671 Woodall Rd., passed away on Oct. 6. He was born April 
20, 1928 to the late Alonzo and Cora Mae Wilson Snow in Polk County. He served 
faithfully in various ministries early in life, concluding his services to the 
Lord at Cedar Lake Christian Center. He was also a successful businessman for 
over 40 years. Mr. Snow was married to the late Vonicle Chislom in 1950. He was 
also preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include: four 
daughters, Martha Burnett, Jonita House, Delores Holiday and Doris Snow; one 
son, Fred A. Snow, Sr.; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a host 
of other relatives. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Cedar 
Lake Christian Center with Bishop David Huskins officiating. The F.K. Jones 
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown,
