Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., February 17, 2004
Marie B. Sorrells, 79, 801 Riverhill Dr., Athens, and formerly of Cedartown, 
passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004. She was born Oct. 23, 1924, in 
Jacksonville, Ala. and was of the Baptist faith. Before retirement, she was in 
the insurance industry as a customer service representative. Mrs. Sorrells was 
preceded in death by: her parents, Calvin and Georgia Lee Busby and four 
brothers and sisters. Survivors include: her son, Barry Sorrells; daughter, Jan 
Craig of Roswell; and brother, George Busby of Pelham, Ala. Five grandchildren, 
two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services 
were conducted Thursday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., in the Northview Cemetery with the 
Rev. J.C. Robinson officiating. Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery. 
The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The
