Arnold D. Swafford, age 77, of 617 College Drive, Cedartown, passed away 
Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1994, after a brief illness.  Mr. Swafford was born Nov. 
22, 1916, in Paulding County.  He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist 
Church.  He was preceded in death by; his wife, Ethel Cole Swafford, and one 
daughter, Libby Zebeau.  Surviving are: daughter, Gloria Ann McKee, Lithonia; 
son, Namon Howell Woods, Grove Town; sister, Mae Turner, Douglasville, and Ora 
Forsyth, Hiram; brother, Dennis Swafford, Villa Rica; one grand-daughter, four 
grandsons, and one great-grandson.  Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 28, 
at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve 
Fetkenhour officiating.  Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens.  Gammage 
Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard,
