Mildred Davis Thompson, age 75, of 138 Bradshaw Dr., Cedartown, passed away 
Thursday, Jan. 21, 1993.  Mrs. Thompson was born June 23, 1917, in Polk 
County.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Daniel David and Lula Gowens 
Davis.  She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.  Mrs. Thompson was 
preceded in death by her husband B. T. (Tommy) Thompson.  Surviving are: one 
daughter, Mrs. Sue Mobley, Cedartown, one son, Herman Thompson, Jonesboro, four 
grandsons and two great granddaughters also survive.  Funeral services were 
held in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesay Funeral Home with the Rev. Church 
Garner officiating. Interment followed in Polk Memory Garden.  Serving as 
pallbearers were Dorian Mobley, Jr., Tracy Mobley, Lance Thompson, Scott 
Thompson, Ricky Bradshaw and Mike Hogg.  The Lester C. Litesay Funeral Home had
