Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net February 2, 2007, 12:09 pm Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, November 20, 2003 William C. “Son” Timms, 78, of 75 Friendly Baptist Church Rd. passed away Nov. 15, 2003. He was born in Alabama and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Timms was a retired upholsterer. He was preceded in death by: parents, Chester and Addie Brown Timms; wife, Evelyn Davis; brothers, J.C. and John I. Timms; sister, Nellie Ingle; and granddaughter, Christina McClanahan. Survivors include: sons, Jerry Timms and Rev. Charles Timms, both of Cedartown; daughters, Syble Billingsley and Linda Thornburg, both of Cedartown; brother, Elbert Timms of Cedartown; and sisters, Ethel Reddish of Panama City, Fla. and Hilda Williams of Cedartown. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Parris and Rev. Robert Pyles officiating.
