The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 29, 2003
Roxie Mae Graham Waites, 80 of 2 Three Mile Rd., Rome, passed away Sunday, 
April 20, 2003 in a Rome hospital. She was born July 25, 1922, in Cherokee 
County, AL. She was a retired restaurant cook. Survivors include daughter, 
Betty Sue Snipes of Lancaster, SC; brothers, R.C. Graham of Rockmart, Robert 
Graham of Griffin, Gene Graham of Sharpsburg and Harvey Graham of Jasper, TN; 
sisters, Cora Lee Owens of Villa Rica, Lucy Owens of Cave Spring, Alice Cordale 
of Canton, and Virginia Morgan of Aragon; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-
grandchild. Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. 
in Aragon Cemetery with Rev. Keith Graham officiating. The Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard,
