The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, August 14, 2003
Annie Laurie Crumbley Waits, 78, of Cedartown, passed away August 5, 2003. She 
was a graduate of Young Harris College, a lifelong member of Cedartown First 
United Methodist Church, a volunteer at Polk General Hospital, and an officer 
of the local AARP chapter. Survivors include: sons, Daniel Waits, Stan Waits, 
Mark Waits, and Jeff Waits; daughter, Melanie Holbrook; brother, James 
Crumbley; sister, Harriet Dawson; eight grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at 
Cedartown First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be 
sent to the Cedartown First United Methodist Church or to Murphy-Harpst 
Children’s Centers in Cedartown. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the
