Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 25, 2007, 10:18 am The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, February 13, 2003 Mary Frances Kirkpatrick Watters, 63, of Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003. She was born July 8, 1939 in Polk County, the daughter of the late Adair and Lila Hendericks Kirkpatrick. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Testament Holiness Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fred Kirkpatrick, and her son, Jeff Watters. Survivors include: husband, Loyd Watters of Taylorsville; sons, Marvin and Edward Watters, both of Taylorsville; daughter, Leanna Abbott of Rome; sisters, Dorothy Fincher of Rockmart, Martha Ann Bishop of Griffin and Margarite Clark of Smyrna; brothers, Don Kirkpatrick of Griffin, Jack, Clyde, Russell, and Jeff Kirkpatrick, all of Cedartown, Paul Kirkpatrick of Tallapoosa, and Joe Kirkpatrick of New Georgia. Six grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home of Cartersville. Rev. Marvin Watters, Rev. Cecil Watters, and Rev. Henry Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Taylorsville Cemetery. The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home of Cartersville was in charge of the arrangements. This announcement was made for the family by the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 9 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lester Litesey Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Chambers officiated. Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Am Dean, John Tyson, Steve Dean, Harold Garrett, Heath Formby and George Dean. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
