NEWSPAPER Issue of Friday, FEBRUARY 21, 1879 
 
The man found dead in the neighborhood of Rockmart last week was named Francis 
Weeks. He had been in delicate health for some time. About 9 o'clock of the 
morning of his death, he called his dogs and went off into the woods. Not 
returning, a search was made and his body was found lying under a cliff by the 
creek. The verdict of the coroner's jury was that he came to his death by the 
providence of God.
