The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, January 23, 2003
E.D. Wells, 87, of 4224 Buchanan Hwy., Cedartown, Ga. Passed away Wednesday, 
Jan. 15, 2003 in a local hospital. He was born July 4, 1915 in Haralson Co. and 
was a WWII Army Veteran. Mr. Wells retired from the State of Ga. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Wells and Ollie Jane Wells. Survivors 
include his wife, Eva Howard Wells; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Linda 
Wells and Rodney and Beverly Wells; sister, Gladys Lee; brother, Neal Wells; 
three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. 
Wells were conducted Friday, Jan. 17, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Polk Memory Gardens 
with Rev. Robert Hulsey officiating. The interment followed in Polk Memory 
Gardens. Pallbearers: Raymond Kuglar, Jerry Lee, Todd Bussey, Mike Wells, 
Harper Snead, Larry Kuglar. Full Military Rites were conducted by the Brewster 
Cleveland Post #86. Gammage Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. (The
