January 19, 2007, 10:24 am The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, January 30, 2003 Willie Ann West, 96, or 301 West Queen Street, Cedartown, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2003. She was born March 13, 1906 in Polk County and was the oldest member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pinkney “Pink” West, and her parents, Jessie Edward and Fannie Sloman Newby. Survivors include sons, Johnny, Jimmy and Jerry West of Cedartown and Bobby West of Sumter, SC; daughters, Helen Molock, Fannie West and Nancy Dodgens, all of Cedartown; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 29 at 3 p.m., in the Union Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Pyles, Rev. Hoyt Lewis and Rev. Dennis Conway officiated. Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Rowell, Clyde Williams, Bobby West, Steve Molock, Thomas West, and Trevor Peek. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Newby, Monti Newby, Matt Molock, Micah Molock, Jess West, Tyler Peek and Brandan Ridgeway. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
