He was born April 22, 1929 in Fulton County. He was a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church in Leesburg. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 12 in Rockmart. He was a Mason in the Masonic Lodge No. 734 F&AM of Morrow, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willis Cooper and Cora Worthington Williams. Survivors include sons, Marion Ronald (Ronnie) Williams of Merritt Island, Fla., Steven Terrance (Terry) Williams of Stockbridge, and Charles Randolph (Randy) Williams of Decatur; daughters, Brenda Eileen Williams of Leesburg, Ala. And Amelia (Gayle) Williams Flynt of Cedar Bluff, Ala.; brother, Charles Williams of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; sister, Virginia Wheeler of Lawrenceville; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 4 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Moody officiated. Interment followed in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
