He was born Feb. 19, 1928 in Polk County. Mr. Wills was a member of Eastview Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 23 years and was retired from Cedar Valley Container. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marion and Mary Lee Wills, brothers, William, Fred and Howard Wills; and sisters, Lena Landers and Annie Mae Williams. Survivors include: wife, Frances Mauldin Wills, Cedartown; son, James Michael Wills, Atlanta; daughter, Lawana W. Drummond, Rome; sisters, Maurine Meers and Julia Coalson, both of Rome, Mary Yarbrough and Betty Perkins, both of Cedartown; and brother, Charles Wills, Cedartown. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m., from Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Reginal Campbell and Dr. Charles Drummond officiating. Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
