Wolfenbarger, 80, of 195 Morris Ave., Cedartown, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2003 at his residence. He was born Aug. 7, 1922 in Granger County and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Wolfenbarger and Selda Satterfield Wolfenbarger and Stepmother, Vada Wolfenbarger. Survivers include his wife, Easter Ferguson Wolfenbarger; daughters, Delores Harmon, Sue Haddix, Lorenda Ward, Ella Shafer, Deborah DeCarli, and Mary Brown; sons, Hughie, Tony, Vernon, Kenneth and Taylor Wolfenbarger; sisters, Edna Dyer, Vorena Dalton, Wawona Moody, Ruth Harding, June Windler, and Grace Phipps; brother, Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger; and a number of grandchildren and great – grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 20 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Woods, Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger, Rev. Moses Wilson, Rev. Ernest House and C.A. Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Youngs Grove Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the Brewster Cleveland Post #86. Pallbearers were Sammy Pointer, Terry Carswell, W.J. Cole, Don Henderson, Mike Bell, Tray Drummond, Joseph Messer, and Harry Morgan. The Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
