The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, July 31, 2003
Ethel Jones Womack, 82, 1532 Lake Creek Rd., Cedartown, passed away Saturday, 
July 26, 2003. She was born Feb. 13, 1921 in Floyd County. She was preceded in 
death by her parents, Henry Howard and Nellie Waits Jones; brother, Sidney 
Jones; and husband of 66 years, Floyd Womack. Survivors include: son, Floyd 
Geston Womack; daughters, Anita W. Isbell and Kathlyn Smith; brother, Henry 
Howard “Buck” Jones Jr.; sisters, Willie Branton and Martha French; six 
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 
Tuesday, July 29 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. 
Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment followed in the Oaknoll Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Michael Jones, Greg Rowell, Jason Crabb, George Bevels, Daniel 
Bevels, and Daniel Smith. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the
