Stacey Leigh Hanson Young, 25, of 339 Compton Circle, Rockmart, passed away 
Wednesday, April 16, 2003. She was born in Paulding County on July 8, 1977 and 
was a member of the New Freedom Baptist Church. She was a manager of ZaxBy’s 
Restaurant in Hiram. Survivors include her parents, Joel and Pat Compton Hanson 
of Rockmart; a son, Caleb Young of Rockmart; grandmothers, Louise Vaughn 
Compton of Rockmart and Jeanell P. Crook of Rome; sister, Lisa M. Hanson of 
Rockmart; and one nephew. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, at 2 
p.m. in the New Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Fennell and Rev. Andy 
Fennell officiating. Interment followed in the Yorkville Cemetery. Pallbearers 
were Chad Fennell, Shane Thornton, Matt Thornton, William Locklear, J.R. 
Forsyth, and Jason Cline. Contributions may be made to the Caleb Young Trust 
Fund at Wachovia Bank, 4580 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway, Hiram, GA 30141. The 
Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
