STATE OF GEORGIA, POLK COUNTY

TO ANY MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL, JUDGE, OR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE:
	You are hereby authorized to join Andrew Willis Evans and Miss Lillian 
Booz in the Holy State of Matrimony, if they are such persons as are by law 
authorized to marry, and this shall be your license for so doing; and you are 
required to return to me this license, together with the accompanying 
certificate, properly certified to as to the facts and date of said marriage.
	Given under my hand and official signature this 3 day of January, 1899

I hereby certify that Andrew Willis Evans and Miss Lillian Booz were this day 
duly joined in matrimony by me.

Additional Comments:
Lillian Dale Booz was the daughter of Thomas Hite Booz, Sr. and Martha Ann 
Whitehead who came to Georgia in 1860 from Amherst, VA and ran the Booz Hotel 
in Cedartown.
