J. Newman died intestate in said county in December 1880 leaving an estate of personal property worth almost one hundred and fifty dollars and leaving a widow to wit the said Mrs. Emma Newman, [inserted] but leaving no children that their (sic) has been no administration on the said Estate, and their (sic) is no representative of said estate, Wherefore petitioner prays that five discreet(?) appraisers be appointed to appraise said Estate and set apart and assign in money or property out of said Estate a sufficiency thereof for the support and maintenance of said widow for the space of twelve months. Arthur Newman Pulaski Court of Ordinary - Chambers foregoing petition it is hereby ordered that James B. Baskins, John J. Davids, Sanders Raspbury, Loren Brown and David H. Henley be and are hereby appointed appraisers to appraise the Estate of Arthur John Newman late of said county now deceased and set apart and assign out of said Estate a sufficiency for the support and maintenance for the space of twelve months for Mrs. Emma Newman the widow of said A. J. Newman, and in the event said Estate should not amount to more than the sum of Five? Hundred Dollars in valuation to set apart the whole thereof for the support of the said Mrs. Emma Newman widow of the said A. J.
