Additional Comments:
John Newman brought his wife and children to Pulaski County from Sampson 
County, North Carolina, in the late 1820's.  It appears from this return that 
he fell ill and was treated by the doctor on November 21, 22 and 23 in 1852, 
and probably died on the 23rd.  His youngest son, Arthur Newman, applied for 
letters of administration on 13 Dec 1852.
