     IMPROVEMENTS WANTED IN 
         HAWKINSVILLE. 
At a mass meeting of the 
citizens of Hawkinsville at the 
auditorium Tuesday night, the 
following petition was  
submitted to the city fathers:
 
 "We favor a bond issue by the 
city of Hawkinsville of $25,000 
 for extension of water and 
  sewerage and $10,000 for 
additional school building, and 
request council to call an 
election for the same," and was
