B. WASNER. Mr. Henry B. Wasner died at his home near town last Sunday morning at half- past ten o'clock after an illness of two weeks from pneumonia which developed after a severe attack of measles. Mr. Wasner was a successful farmer and one of the county's best citizens. He enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him and his death is universally regretted. He was 43 years old and leaves besides his wife and three children one sister and four brothers, Mrs. J. L. Huggins, of this city, Mr. John Wasner of Perry, Mr. F. B. Markert of Atlanta, and Messrs. W. F. and E. K. Markert of Cordele, and other relatives. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Church at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning by his pastor, Rev. E. H. McGehee, assisted by Rev. Charles L. Greaves and Rev. R. C. Sanders in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. The interment followed in Orange Hill Cemetery, the following named gentlemen acting as pallbearers: C. I. Anderson, L. N. Anderson, W. O. Anderson, W. L. Anderson, E. D. Richardson and T. A. Middlebrooks.
