Vol 15, #46, Thursday Morning, 17 Nov. 1881: Obituary, Page 188. Mr. George W. Boatright died at his home in Dooly County on Sunday morning last, aged about thirty-one years. Mr. Boatright had been confined to his bed with typhoid fever for over thirty-five days… The funeral was preached at Antioch Church on Monday last by Rev. W. R. Steeley, and the burial service was performed by the Masons of Millwood Lodge, of which the deceased was a member. Mr. Boatright leaves a widow and three children. Tippett ( dau of Abner Tippett) 7 April 1872 in Pulaski County., Georgia By: Larkin Joiner., M.G. George Newton Boatright was buried on Monday 14 November 1881 at Old Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. He was the son of Raleigh “Rolly” Boatright (1805 Ga & @1891 Ga) and Elizabeth Harden (1819 GA AND 1888 GA) They were married in Washington County., Georgia in 1838.
