(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net December 12, 2012, 5:59 pm The Hawkinsville Dispatch & News 9-21-1988 Page 13 Holly Cap Brown Sr. Holly Cap Brown Sr., 82, of Hawkinsville, died Sept. 14. at the Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Services were conducted Sept. 15 at 3pm at the Midway Baptist Church with interment in the Brown Family Cemetery. Officiating were Revs. Olin Hamlin, Lanier Beasley, and Carl Sikes. Mr. Brown was a native of Pulaski County, a member of the Midway Baptist Church, and a retired farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Koehn of Hawkinsville; three sons, Holly C. Brown Jr. of Bradenton, Fla., W. Lovett Brown and Miles R. Brown, both of Hawkinsville; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wayne Simmons, Wendell Collins, Wendell Meadows, Tommy Hogg, Bobby Mullis, and Jimmy Harden. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of the Midway Baptist Church. Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Holly was born 10 Dec 1905 to William Lovett Brown and Ola Mae Lancaster brown. His wife was Ruth Carroll Brown who is also buried in the Brown Famiy Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #037357.
