Vol. 7, #19. Thursday Morning, 8 May 1873:

Mrs. Rebecca Coffee, Age about 24 yrs., died Sunday evening last and was 
buried Monday afternoon in Orange Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Coffee is survived by 
her husband, Capt. John A. Coffee, and 4 children.

Vol. 7, #25.  Thursday Morning, 19 Jun 1873.

Mrs. Rebecca S. Coffee was born in Pulaski County on 28 Jul. 1846, and died in 
Hawkinsville on 4 May 1873.  She was married to Captain John A. Coffee in 1864 
and has three surviving children.  Sister Coffee was a member of the Methodist 
E. Church,  South.

Compiler Notes:  My survey of Orange Hill Cemetery in 1993 listed only Capt. 
Jno. A.. Coffee (no dates). Four Graves unmarked. Sometime before his death in 
1997, John D. Willcox, a prominent citizen from Eastman, Georgia had all four 
graves Marked and Identified by family members.  Captain John Alford Coffee is 
now marked and is next to his 1st Wife,  Rebecca (Daniel)
Coffee. She was the daughter of James Stevens Daniel & Elizabeth  Wilcox.  It 
has been said they are buried in Orange Hill Cemetery, but are not marked.  
There are memorials to them in the Willcox Burial Grounds in Dodge County, 
Georgia
