Thursday, February 18, 1897

Mrs. Lou D. Coney, wife of James W. Coney, died at her home three miles east 
of town on Thursday night last, 11 instant, after a brief illness of 
pneumonia.  She leaves a husband and one son, nineteen years old, together 
with numerous relatives and friends to mourn her death.

Compiler Notes:    She is listed as Louisa Drake Philips Coney in the 
cemetery. Note above, It states she died on the 11th instant (On her grave its 
Feb 10, 1897.) She was buried next to her husband James W. Coney who died 24 
Nov. 1910.   In the Census it states he was born about 1847 in Pulaski County.
(His grave is unmarked)  Both are buried in Sec: L., Philips Lot,  Orange Hill 
Cemetery, Hawkinsville, Pulaski County, Georgia. (He is not Marked or listed 
in the INDEX of Orange Hill Cemetery, Hawkinsville, Pulaski County, Georgia ) 
But his obituary states he was buried in Orange Hill Cemetery.
