Hamm was born 12-24-1909 and died 11-11-1977 (GA DC# 037458) and is buried at Orange Hill Cemetery in Pulaski County. His wife, Hazel Agnes Hall Hamm, is also buried there. From The Macon Telegraph 11-12-1977 Page 3B Alva. B. Hamm HAWKINSVILLE----Alva B. Hamm, 68, died Friday in a local hospital after a brief illness. Services will be held at 2PM Sunday in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hamm, a native of Twiggs County, was a member of Adriel Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Robins Air Force Base. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Hall Hamm of Hawkinsville; a son, Roy C. Hamm of Hawkinsville; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Hogg and Mrs. Mae H. Bennett, both of Hawkinsville; a brother, Leonard H. Hamm of New Orleans, La.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
