Hopson SPARKS, Oct. 31 -- Funeral services were held Monday in Brushy Creek Church near here for George T. Hopson, 79, Sparks farmer who died in Milledgeville. The Rev. Bud Abott and Rev. Glenn Young officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Alfred Hopson, Moultrie, Andrew Hopson, Sparks, and Wiley Hopson, Plant City, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Odom, Sparks, Mrs. Ethel Sharpe, Kannapolis, NC, and Mrs. Quinnia Baldree, Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Casper, Fitzgerald and Mrs. Lizzie Hobbs, Tifton. Additional Comments: George was born 28 Apr 1882 to Eli Franklin Hopson and Martha Howell Hopson.
