DODGE COUNTY NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS Volume IV., 1920-1928 By: Tad Evans Page 2031 Thursday, April 6, !928 MRS. MILLIE ANN JONES. Mrs. Millie Ann Jones, widow of the late Charles Jones, who was for many years a prominent figure in the political affairs of Dodge County, died at the home of her son, Mr. Monroe M. Jones, in this city Wednesday afternoon of the infirmities of old age, Mrs Jones being about 80 years old. Funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem Church, of which she was a member, this afternoon by Rev. P. A. Jessup and Rev. J. B. Evans, and interment took place in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born and reared in that part of Pulaski County that is now Wheeler County, but moved to Dodge about 60 years ago. Previous to her marriage she was Miss Seay. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Herndon, of Dexter, who is 87 years old. She is also survived by the following children, John Jones, Unadilla, Fran Jones, Plainfield, Mrs. Elizabeth Cain and Mrs. Nancy Nixon, Cramerton, N. C.; M. M. Jopnes, Eastman, Major A.B.
