See Page 241. Vol. 17. #46., Thursday Morning, 15 Nov 1883 Lewis Lee, Esq., died at his home eleven mils below Hawkinsville on Tuesday night, 13 November 1883. Mr. Lee formerly lived in Wilkinson County, and for a time practiced law in Hawkinsville. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Lewis Lee was born: 28 Aug 1851 in Wilkinson County, Georgia. He died: 13 Nov 1883 in Pulaski County, Georgia. He married Eugenia Ann Smith on 13 Dec 1871 in Pulaski County, Georgia. She was born: 30 Apr 1853 in Laurens County Georgia and died: 28 Oct 1928 in Hawkinsville,Pulaski County, Georgia.(At home of her daughter Sallie Smith, wife of John B. Taylor) Lewis Lee was the son of Walter Washington Lee (1812-1887) and Sarah Burke Rozar (1820-1889) a widow. (buried in Lee Cemetery, Wilkinson County, Georgia).
