Robert Milton Carter born 19 Feb. 1813 died 7 May 1864 Gordon Co. Ga. 

He married 7 Dec. 1837 Putnam Co. Ga. Martha L. Collinsworth born 26 Oct. 
1819 Morgan Co. Ga. died aft. 1860. She was the dtr. of Rev. John 
Collinsworth & Mildred Laura Scarborough (See Biography posted) 

Robert was the son of John Carter born 7 May 1785 Ga. died 31 May 1820 
Putnam Co. Ga. and Mary Kendrick born 1789 Chatham Co NC died aft 1844 
Putnam Co. Ga. 

Robert & Martha had the following children: 
John Thomas 20 Sep.1839 
David 20 Aug 1841 
William Collinsworth 11 Dec 1844 
Mary Florence 20 May 1847 
Robert Pierce 26 May 1850 
Martha Mildred" Mattie" 28 Apr. 1857 
Benjamin W. 30 Jun 1858 
John Thomas died 6 days later. 
Davod died 24 Sep. 1863 
William Collinsworth married 1869 Tommie Jane Spear 9 known children.

Probably married Talbot. Marriage in Bible which I have copy of. He sold 
Father's property in Terrell Co. Ga. He went to college, possibly Wm. & 
Mary.He and dtr. Laura killed in a fire together.

Robert Pierce died 12 May 1853 
Martha Mildred died 2 Sep. 1885 Ga. She married 5 Jul. 1874 Talbot Co. 
Ga. Reuben Isham Underwood born 17 Jun 1852 Monroe Co. Ga. died 25 
Aug.1937 Shellman, Randolph,Ga. This couple lived Talbot & Macon Co. and 
had twins , Camilla Thweatt (my ancestor),Luther Erle, and Alma 
Collinsworth. 
William W. married 1888 S. Y. Speer. No more known.

Mourning Milton dtr of Robert Milton dec'd to be commited to the cart of Mr. 
Robert Cater Jr.Bond...Bondsman Thomas Cate. The Montgomery family was from 
Orange. Marriage Book D page 248.
