Pearson, direct descendant of Thomas and Sarah Ann Catching Head for providing this information. The Head Cemetery consists of over twenty graves located on 3500 square meters of a knolltop. There are seven marked graves in this cemetery, three of which are located within a granite-walled enclosure, two within an iron- fenced enclosure and two just outside of the iron fence. There are many additional unmarked grave depressions surroinding these two enclosures. Several of these depressions have granite head and foot stones. The daughter of Thomas and Sarah Head, Sarah Ann Catching Head Pearson is buried at this cemetery also, but there is no marker to that effect. It is beleived that the husband of Sarah Pearson, Daniel B. Pearson is buried at this cemetery also. Sarah and Daniel's son Thomas Jefferson Pearson is also beleived to be buried in this cemetery also. Memorial markers have been placed in the cemetery, for Daniel and Thomas Jefferson by Johnnie P. Pearson, Greatgrandson of Daniel and Sarah. An infant daughter(name unknow) of James and Artemisia Wright, granddaughter of Thomas and Sarah is buried in this cememtery. Her marker is broken into many pieces. She died June 12, 1851.
